Through photography and writing, this project shares the rhythms, contrasts, hopes, and hardships that shape life in Colorado. Here, you’ll meet longtime locals, new transplants, and everyone in between. Each messy, remarkable portrait is an invitation to pause and listen. To see others more clearly. This state isn’t just peaks, plains, open skies, and artsy cities. It’s the people who call it home.

Share a bit about yourself, such as your name and years spent in CO.

Let’s take photos!

I’ll contact you to work out a date and time for a FREE photo session and short interview. You’ll receive your final photos via email.

We’'ll share your story and photos.

Before publishing, I’ll send you the short article based on your interview, as well as your photos. You can let us know if anything’s wrong! Once you give the go-ahead, I’ll post your story to Instagram and this site.

Your Questions, Answered

2 weeks to a month. I photograph on Fridays and Sundays.
Minimum 30 minutes, maximum 2 hours.
Not a cent. This photo session is completely free.

I prefer to come to you, so I will see how far you are, and we can decide from there. I prefer photographing in your environment (it could be your workplace, home, favorite coffee shop).
I prefer to shoot on film. I use a Mamiya RB67 and Minolta SLR.
Whenever I get the film developed! Please wait at least a month for the photos to be finished.
