See the faces. Read the stories. Share the journey. #HumansOfColorado

Humans of Colorado is a portrait and storytelling project that shines a light on the people who make this state extraordinary. Inspired by the belief that everyone has a story worth telling, this project pairs intimate photography with personal reflections to celebrate the diversity, resilience, and everyday humanity of Coloradans.

Fiona Lin is a storyteller, photographer, and observer of people. Drawn to the quiet details that reveal who we are, Fiona uses her camera as a way to listen as much as to see. Her work is rooted in curiosity, empathy, and a deep belief that everyone has a story worth sharing.

Shot exclusively on 35mm and 120 film.

Mamiya RB67, Mamiya 7, Minotla SRT-101

Meet the Team

  • Photographer

Fiona is a storyteller, photographer, and observer of people. Originally from California, (I know, classic CA transplant) she moved to Colorado and quickly fell in love with both the vast landscapes and the spirit of the people who call this state home.

  • Writer

With a heart for prose, people, and authentic storytelling, Amanda Blake finds purpose in unmasking beauty through her writing. Her favorite things about Colorado are its vivid landscapes, dog culture, and diverse architecture.
